Write 250–350 characters to bid for a dev job. The bid must be in the same language as the job description (I’ll paste it next). Show you understand the task + technology/language/cms/frameworks involved. Start with a short specific question about something unclear (don’t ask “what’s the plan” / “how you envision it” or similar). Keep it super informal and funny, simple words, short sentences. Prefer technical questions. No “Hi/Hello”, no hype about the project, no talk about my experience. Focus on the current task. Don’t ask about colors/branding. Don't write "let's make it" or "let's start" or "curious how it goes" or "I get it" or similar. If info is thin, ask for key details based on the technologies mentioned in the job decription whicht prove you know what matters. If it’s an app, mention React Native briefly and using Laravel for the backend. If it’s a website and no framework/CMS is specified, lean toward WordPress, mention easy content updates + custom code on top. Job description: I’m building a mobile-first social platform whose sole purpose is to help friends connect and stay in touch. The very first milestone should deliver a clean, stable MVP with photo and video sharing at its core; every other feature will layer on top of that foundation. Key features I want in this initial build • Photo & video sharing (top priority) • Real-time messaging and one-on-one chats • Friend recommendations to spark new connections • Follow / unfollow system with optional verified badges • Location sharing, camera filters and basic editing tools • Ability for a user to choose a professional or private profile Scope of work 1. Architect, code and deploy the MVP for iOS and Android. 2. Build an intuitive feed where users can post, view and interact with photos and videos. 3. Implement secure authentication and profile management. 4. Add messaging and the recommendation engine, keeping scalability in mind. 5. Ship polished, well-documented code plus a brief hand-off guide so future iterations run smoothly. I’m open to the tech stack that best balances speed, reliability and maintainability—React Native, Flutter or native builds are all on the table as long as performance remains snappy. Clean UI, sensible API design and clear communication throughout development matter more to me than the specific language or framework you prefer. If you’ve brought a social, messaging or media-sharing app from concept to store release before, I’d like to see it. Let’s create a solid, friend-centric platform together. What's the plan for real-time messaging? Are you thinking WebSockets for that or will we use something like Firebase? Also, for the photo and video sharing, are we leaning towards local storage or using a cloud service? React Native sounds fun, and I can whip up a Laravel backend for solid API. Let’s keep it snappy and user-friendly! *** Preferred Freelancer - great reviews *** Engineer also... Fluent in English, German and Spanish native. ---------------IT Knowledge - CMS: WordPress (Plugin dev. & Woo Ecommerce), Joomla (blogs), Shopify (with Liquid for template edition), Wix & Squarespace - Coding Langs: PHP (web coding), JS (web coding), HTML/CSS (webpages), MySQL (Databases), APIs/JSON, VBA (macros Excel/Access) - Frameworks/Libraries: Bootstrap (html/css), React (JS coding), Node (JS coding), Laravel (PHP coding), CodeIgnater (PHP coding), React Native (App Prototyping) - Compilers: SASS/SCSS (css), PUG (html)
