Show you understand the task + technology/language/cms/frameworks involved. Start with a short specific question about something unclear (don’t ask “what’s the plan” / “how you envision it” or similar). Keep it super informal and funny, simple words, short sentences. If it’s a website and no framework/CMS is specified, lean toward WordPress, mention easy content updates + custom code on top. Job description: Create an app which supports people to create photos suitable for an identification document. The app will interact with a server and has the following high-level functionality: • The user takes a photo. • The app sends the photo to the server which checks the photo, the app communicates the results of the photo check to the user. The user can decide if he wants to take another photo or if he wants to continue. • In case the user continues, the “Final Processing” starts. The final processing step removes the background from the image and verifies purchase data. The app has a free and a premium option. For the premium option, the user can buy in the app credits (in app purchase). If the user has premium credits, he will receive a full resolution photo. Otherwise, he can get the photo for free at a lower resolution. • The photo is then stored in the user’s media library. The backend/server logic does not have to be created. Only one part of the backend still needs to be changed: We have so far only a dummy logic to verify the purchase token with the google and apple servers. To create this part, we will need some valid tokens to test e.g. from a preproduction environment. Also, some sample code that does the validation may be helpful to speed up the development process of this part. Other Requirements - We want to release the app on Android and iOS, therefore the basis for the app should ideally be using a cross-platform framework like e.g. React Native or a tool which allows for easy deployment on both platforms. - Initial release is planned for Android, a working iOS version is required - App needs to use dynamic scaling to run on smartphones but also on tablets with various screen sizes and resolutions - App components need to be easily testable - Technical documentation, e.g. how and where are the configurable values stored, these should be all in one place. - Share the expected key design of the app following our design guideline - You can add functionality, as long as it improves the usability of the app Full Requirements are documented in the "Functional Requirements" document Related skills: Mobile App Development, iPhone, Android, App Design, iOS Development
